you really should focus on just 1 or 2 ranges of product instead of everything

There is nothing wrong with trying to sell a variety of items,

because there is a market for everything on ebay,

I even seen some sheffield airport air sell on their for £10

no but i believe it is better for people starting to focus on just one range not a wide variety

Well personally on ebay i sell everything and seem to get alot more interest from selling all sorts rather that games and consoles as i used to just sell,
now i have lcd tvs,laptops and gps systems and im getting alot more interest from all them

I agree with Zappo. It's better if spread your product line which can gauge interest and increase profits.
