TTF Credit Scheme

The scheme is designed to help promote our forum, making it more beneficial for you and other members. All members are welcome to take part.

We have integrated a credits system into the forum. By taking part in various activities around the forum, you can earn TTF Credits. By earning enough credits you will be selected as a TTF Credit Member.

Credit Members have the following benefits.
- Your website/business advertised in the TTF mailing list (currently comprising of over 3000 active email addresses).
- Your website/business banner advertised on the forum free of charge.
- "TTF Registered Seller" status free of charge.

Members must reach a target number of credits to be selected as a Credit Member.

The target number of credits for February 2008 is: 390

Credits are awarded as follows:
- 100 credits for just signing up!
- Refer people to sign up on the forum - 15 credits for every referral
- Take part in discussions throughout the forum - 5 credits for every post you make.
- Start your own discussion - 8 credits for every thread you create
- Help promote the forum by linking to us from your website (use your referral link) - 50 credits. Please notify us when you have done this.
- Show the TTF Banner (available here: www.thetradingforums.com/banner.gif) on your website. Banner must link to our website. - 50 credits. If you display the banner on more than 1 website, you will be given 30 credits per extra website. Please notify us when you have done this.
- Compete for The Trader of The Month Award. By default, all members can take part in this. The winner of the award will receive 100 credits!
- You can also earn credits by offering feedback towards the forum. Any improvements made as a result of your suggestion will earn you credits (usually 50+).

If you reach the target number of credits, you will have Credit Membership for 3 months. After this period, your membership will be reset to it's previous level.

At the end of each month, your TTF Credit score will be reset to 50, and there will be a new target to reach for the next month.

The number of points you currently have, is shown under your "post count" and in your profile.
To view the users with the most credits, simply follow the "TTF Credit Scheme" link in the "Quick Links" menu on the forum. This menu is only available once you have logged in.

Notes:
- All posts/referrals you have already made, have been counted towards your score.
- All posts/threads you make must contribute to the original thread content. The forum will still be moderated, and all "spam" posts will be removed. Do not post with "useless content". (ie. "no", or "i don't know" etc.). Doing so, will result in an eventual ban.
- All referrals must be unique. You must not create multiple accounts.
- To view the Top Posters, use the Quick Links menu on the forum.
- The number of credits awarded for each activity is subject to change. You will receive all updates via the forum, or through our monthly newsletter.
- The target number of credits is subject to change every month
